I due elementi che catturano immediatamente lo sguardo in questa foto sono indubbiamente l'ombra in secondo piano e il rumore, che rende la foto simile ad un sogno, un ricordo lontano, un'immagine che ha attraversato il tempo.
La composizione poi è perfetta: il fiore centrale e l'ombra dietro riempiono il fotogramma con la loro semplicità.
Anche il bianco e nero ha le tonalità giuste per questa foto, dal contrasto non troppo pronunciato; un bianco e nero soffice, impalpabile, che ancora una volta trasporta nel passato.
Un'immagine pulita, precisa, efficace.
Forse un punto in più di bianco in più l'avrebbe migliorata ulteriormente, ma questo è solo il mio personalissimo parere..

The shadow on the wall is definitely what makes this. Interesting how so much cognizance can be expanded, explosively, from what was projected, something seemingly menial and of no noticeable consequence.

I see: lotus blossoms, twirling their stems to form the arms of an inspired dancer, which fold gently for a woman in prayer, while the hands divert in angularity to become the beak of a diving kingfisher, emerging upwards again in the elongated structure of a proud flamingo.

All these wild connotations return in full circulation to its humble origin... a simple blossom, resting atop a bold pedestal. Simply existing
